In terms of infrastructure, Altensteig is well developed. Inside, the community can be reached by various bus routes. Destinations outside the small town can be reached from the “Altensteig Rathaus” stop by bus X77 in the direction of “Herrenberg Kalkhofenstraße”. Calw can be reached by car in under 30 minutes via highway 362 and Stuttgart in approx. 70 minutes.

With numerous sports activities, animal and nature parks, museums, hiking trails and viewpoints, the city offers beautiful nature, which is particularly attractive for families and seniors.
