Bad Liebenzell is located in a sunny extension of the Nagold Valley around 20 km south of Pforzheim, surrounded by the wooded slopes of the Black Forest. With around 9,700 inhabitants (as of June 2021), it belongs to the Northern Black Forest region and the fringes of the Stuttgart metropolitan region.
