Energy concept

The buildings are heated through a combination of various highly efficient systems. This gives us a high level of self-sufficiency and sustainability combined with low environmental impact. There are three energy sources available to the property for this purpose:

  • Photovoltaic system for the production of electricity
  • Heat pumps for heating and hot water
  • Cogeneration plant for heat and electricity

Primarily, heating and hot water preparation takes place via the heat pumps, which use the electricity from the photovoltaic system. A combined heat and power plant also provides electricity and heat if the photovoltaic system does not produce enough electricity. Garden irrigation is done by collecting rainwater in cisterns. The wooden construction is also sustainable: A large part of the wood comes from Baden-Württemberg.

Oberrombach

The location

The village of Oberrombach is located in the western suburbs of Aalen, in the middle of Welland. The striking landscape structure with green hills and small forests is reminiscent of the Allgäu.

The associated landscape protection area begins directly on both sides of the property - so the view is unobstructed! Despite the idyllic, quiet location, you can reach the city center, the technical college or the B29 towards Nördlingen or Stuttgart in just a few minutes by car or bike.
