Spindlersfeld is in the Köpenick district of the Treptow-Köpenick district. It lies on the left bank of the Spree. In 1873, the Brandenburg provincial government officially confirmed the name "Spindlersfeld" for the area of ​​the chemical cleaning, laundry and dye works founded by the entrepreneur Wilhelm Spindler in 1871.

In addition to the large laundry, W. Spindler also built a workers' settlement with inexpensive apartments in which up to 50 workers' families lived in the immediate vicinity of the factory. Today the so-called "Spindler buildings" are under monument protection and are being extensively renovated.

Outfitting

FLOORS
The floor covering in the kitchen and living rooms is oak look (3-layer parquet or vinyl). The sanitary areas and the utility rooms are equipped with tiles.

BATHROOMS/SHOWERS/WC'S

BUILDING FIELD PARKSIDE II

The location of the buildings is in the south-eastern part of the planning area, Am Kutscherhaus 1, 3 and Carl-Spindler-Str. 12, 14, 16 and 18 and is part of the construction plan 9-22. In it, the former factory site "Spindlersfeld" is being developed as a residential construction site with new buildings and converted, listed existing buildings.

Because of the proximity to the monuments, the external appearance of the buildings will be adapted to the renovated ring building in coordination with the monument authority.

In the WA13/PARKSIDE II construction phase, 6 free-standing, five-storey apartment buildings with 126 apartments, around 50% of which are barrier-free, with a total of 60 parking spaces are being built. In each of the six towers there are 21 apartments from 32 sqm to 128 sqm of living space. All apartments have balconies or terraces.

There are communal playground areas in the outdoor area.

The buildings do not have a basement. Each of the ground floors has approx. 9 parking spaces, a residents' cellar, a bicycle room and a room for baby buggies, as well as 1 house connection room and 1 garbage room.

The entrances to the parking lots are made from the respective side of the street.
