Approximately 5 km north of Singen, the quiet district with almost 4,000 inhabitants is located on a beautiful, partial hillside and has excellent transport connections. The bus stop, which is within walking distance, takes you directly to the town of Engen and the schools. The Engen railway station connects the region by rail with Constance, Radolfzell, Singen and Stockach, and thus with the long-distance hubs of Stuttgart, Ulm and Zurich. For example, Lake Constance can be reached in Radolfzell and Bodman within 15 minutes. The Austrian and Swiss Alps can be enjoyed after a 1.5 hour drive. Mühlhausen is also ideally connected to Constance, Stockach and Überlingen via the B33 federal road. Zurich, Stuttgart and Munich can be reached quickly via the Hegau motorway junction and the A81.
