The idyllic and tradition-rich municipality of Baierbrunn is located amidst greenery in the Isar valley, only around 20 km south of the Bavarian capital Munich. The town was first mentioned in 776 in a deed of donation to Schäftlarn Monastery. Thanks to the S7 S-Bahn line, the municipality enjoys excellent connections to Munich city centre. The S-Bahn station is located only around 500 m from the residential complex. Despite its proximity to the city, Baierbrunn has retained its village charm with a village square, maypole and charming small shops.
Nature, culture and community
Baierbrunn is located between the Isar high banks and Forstenrieder Park, surrounded by expansive forests and meadows.
