Project description
The ensemble
24 terraced houses
The HENRIETTEN GÄRTEN inspire with their nature-close location and future-oriented outfitting. The distinctive architecture, rhythmically staggered, with their flat roofs reminds of the Bauhaus era. At the same time, floor-to-ceiling windows provide light-filled rooms that are more than a home: a good feeling of having arrived.
Classic elegance, well-conceived rooms and a real home
A harmonious community emerges when there are as many commonalities as possible. According to this approach, the HENRIETTEN GÄRTEN were planned as a residential ensemble with three nearly identical terraced houses each, which are always slightly offset from the next group of houses.
All 24 houses have an ideal south-west orientation of the garden, have two residential floors and are high-quality outfitted. This includes the air-water heat pump with cooling function in summer as well as its own PV system on the roof. The floor-to-ceiling windows are triple insulated glazed and together with the underfloor heating ensure daily wellbeing.
Green, modern and homely: HENRIETTEN GÄRTEN - highlights
-
Modern architecture
Eight offset house groups are created, each with three terraced houses in optimal east-west orientation (kitchen facing east, terrace with afternoon sun). -
Hygge lifestyle
In the open living, cooking and dining area, the harmonious connection of inside and outside creates a cosy atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the here and now. -
Modern mobility
In Hohen Neuendorf, many things can be done by bicycle. Those who still rely on the car benefit from e-mobility: an underground conduit is laid from the utility room to the car parking space. -
Comfort climate
Each house receives an air-water heat pump that provides cosy warmth in winter and pleasantly cools the rooms in summer. -
In the garden
Family-friendly, attractive and low-maintenance: whether in leisure time, with friends or family, your own garden becomes a natural extension of the living room in the warm months. -
Light and space
Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, all rooms are ideally lit. They receive an elegant steel balustrade on the upper floor. The triple insulated glazing ensures optimal room climate.
Our house
A home that combines quality with comfort
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the beautifully designed rooms with daylight and create unique sight lines into the green and peaceful surroundings. On the upper floor, the daylight bathroom with floor-level shower and bathtub provides small wellness moments in everyday life. A large washbasin, Grohe fittings, a Hoesch bathtub and Geberit operating plates in elegant form harmonise with the three wall and floor tiles from Caesar Ceramiche available for selection. The same tiles are laid in the guest WC and utility room. And oak parquet in three versions is offered for the rooms. The underfloor heating and an air-water heat pump with cooling function as well as the triple insulated glazed windows ensure a particularly pleasant room climate.
The location
Living in Hohen Neuendorf means village idyll not far from Berlin
In the heart of Hohen Neuendorf-West and thus at the gates of Berlin, the HENRIETTEN GÄRTEN create a very special home. Here the clocks still tick more slowly, you experience the seasons more intensively and there are many good reasons for real satisfaction. A warm welcome to Hohen Neuendorf, the place to put down roots.
From the small sleepy Hohen Neuendorf, a larger community grew towards the end of the 19th century: through lively construction activity between 1890 and 1904, the population grew from 323 to 1600. Hohen Neuendorf experienced another impulse after the Second World War. The construction of the Berlin Outer Ring in 1953/54 also permanently shaped the townscape. With the construction of the Wall on 13 August 1961, Hohen Neuendorf finally became a border area – a condition that lasted until the historic night of 9 to 10 November 1989.
After reunification, Hohen Neuendorf's popularity increased. The number of inhabitants rose from 8,281 in 1990 to 27,282 most recently. Today Hohen Neuendorf consists of 4 districts that flow seamlessly into each other and are surrounded by forests and meadows. Since 2019, Hohen Neuendorf has carried the additional designation "Bee City", which is implemented in various projects.
