The quiet, idyllic location of the plot (near Düsseldorf with excellent transport connections) makes for a highly attractive offering in a quality neighbourhood. The plots are oriented to the south-east.
Hösel’s development consists predominantly of residential houses with a high proportion of detached single-family homes. Other buildings almost exclusively serve the direct needs of the local population (for example shops, doctors, schools and day-care centres). Other commercial uses are only sporadically present.
The B 227 leads from the Breitscheid motorway junction through Hösel to Heiligenhaus and onward to Velbert. The new construction of the A 44 between the Ratingen-Ost junction and the Heiligenhaus exit is expected to significantly reduce traffic on the B 227. The Angerbachtal Bridge has already been completed since autumn 2022. Completion of the missing section is expected at the earliest in 2025.
Hösel station lies on the main line of the Ruhr Valley Railway, on which only S-Bahn line S6 Cologne-Worringen – Düsseldorf – Ratingen Ost – Essen operates. Three bus lines run from there to Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth (line 751 via Lintorf and Angermund), Velbert (line 770 via Heiligenhaus) and Ratingen (line 773 via Eggerscheidt). The on-demand taxi bus line O14 runs to Breitscheid.
