The Ruhr metropolis Essen

Vibrant city with culture and lifestyle

Image new build property Grashofstraße 87, Essen

In nearby Essen city centre, residents of quiet suburbs can fulfil their desire for big-city vibrancy and cultural diversity. Here, the dynamics of structural change from an industrial city to a future-oriented administrative, commercial and service centre are clearly noticeable.

The most forest-rich city in the Ruhr region continually surprises with renowned events and exhibitions at world-class level. A visit to the Museum Folkwang opens your horizons to the fascination of fine arts, while a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage site “Zollverein” with its changing events awakens an interest in industrial culture. Leave everyday life behind at a concert in the world-famous Aalto Theatre or in the powerful acoustics of the Philharmonie.

Excellent shopping opportunities as well as a diverse gastronomy scene, including the popular “Rüttenscheider pub mile”, make a visit to the city centre a truly special experience.

Energy and heating concept

GEG 2023 - energy-efficient into the future!

Heating system - air-water heat pump

The air-water heat pump follows current trends and is a forward-looking technology in building services. Due to continuously rising costs of fossil fuels, extracting heat from the environment is a smart alternative to conventional heating systems such as gas or oil heating.

Heat pump - the ecological alternative

Heat pump heating systems are clearly superior to gas and oil heating in terms of primary energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. From an overall economic perspective, they make an important contribution to energy savings and significantly reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (CO₂), sulphur dioxide, nitrogen and particulate matter in line with comprehensive environmental protection. From a primary energy perspective, heat pumps are among the best heating technologies available today.

Photovoltaic system

A photovoltaic system converts sunlight into electrical energy. PV stands for photovoltaics, the technology that enables this process.

A photovoltaic system consists of various components, such as photovoltaic modules, mounting systems, solar cables, battery storage, inverters and energy meters. The photovoltaic modules generate direct current through solar radiation, which is then converted into alternating current by the inverter.

A photovoltaic system can be connected to the public power grid to feed in electricity and receive compensation, or it can be operated as a standalone system to use or store the electricity directly.

Energy-efficient and sustainable homes

Our new build developments are constructed in accordance with the new GEG 2023 (Building Energy Act), which promotes greater climate protection and sustainability in the building sector.

Our houses feature high-quality outfitting, optimal thermal insulation and intelligent building technology, enabling comfortable and cost-efficient homes.
