Project description
Wallenstein. My place to live.
There’s enough excitement and strain out in the world. And the busier the times get, the more we need a personal, safe place for ourselves and our loved ones. Our home. A little like in the old days: not too big, rather manageable, with neighbours you know. Safe for children and quiet for everyone. Green and with space to be outdoors — to play or simply enjoy. Comfortable and well served — grounded and free at the same time.
Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: a relaxed normality is priceless — and the best setting for the best moments of our lives!
The project.
Architecture: Classic Modern.
Architect Peter Höldrich designs WALLENSTEIN as a refuge of calm. The aim is to create a special retreat within the urban context, defined by a sheltered courtyard garden — right in the city but shielded from street noise.
The concept follows a classical building arrangement: two parallel blocks aligned north–south with an interesting roof design that fits naturally into the green surroundings without appearing dominant.
Notable is the representative stairwell: generous glazing and light-filled atriums create a sense of space and elegance the moment you enter the buildings — an impressive prelude to your new home.
Trusted forms reinterpreted.
The distinctive roof shape with carefully placed recesses not only creates a striking silhouette but also provides sheltered loggias and covered outdoor areas with high individual value.
The generous balconies of the lower floors extend the living spaces outdoors and offer sun, fresh air and views of the greenery.
On the ground floor residents enjoy private terraces with direct access to landscaped courtyards — perfect places to relax, play and linger.
Apartments with character
The floor plans are modernly zoned and functionally designed:
- Central, generous living and dining areas as the heart of the home — open and filled with light
- Quiet, well-proportioned rooms for retreat and comfort
- Fluid circulation and natural sightlines for a pleasant spatial feel
Welcome under the Munich sky.
A special highlight are the top-floor apartments. Here, cosiness, architectural appeal and individuality combine in a unique way.
The steeply pitched roofs (70° angle) create impressive interior spaces and an unmistakable living experience.
Large roof windows and loggias bring plenty of light and air into the rooms and offer wonderful views into the courtyard tree canopy and beyond.
Everything around home. Everything you want.
Wallenstein is the place where you find both freedom and security.
Isn’t it always like this? You miss what you don’t have. Those living in the countryside long for city variety — and city dwellers crave free nature. There is, however, a neighbourhood where you can easily have both: at WALLENSTEIN you live wonderfully protected in green surroundings and are still just minutes by foot or bike from your workplace, shops or sports facilities in Munich.
Whether supermarket or kindergarten, gym or favourite Italian — short distances mean high quality of life.
Green lungs and a varied experience: the Olympiapark is always a worthwhile — and quickly reachable — nearby recreational destination.
It is the proximity to life that makes everyday city living so easy.
As in any big city there are trendy neighbourhoods that come to mind immediately. And there are the other quarters — often just around the corner — where people like you and I can find a true home. Like Milbertshofen — with Schwabing right next door.
