Location
Mühlbach is a charming district within the municipality of Kiefersfelden, situated at the foot of the impressive Kaiser mountains and only a few kilometres from the Tyrolean border. The property is elevated with unobstructed views across the valley and offers one of the most beautiful mountain panoramas in Upper Bavaria – a privilege that inspires anew every day.
Luegsteinsee, an idyllic natural bathing lake of exceptional charm, can be reached within approximately 20 minutes on foot – ideal for spontaneous swimming days surrounded by untouched nature. The Hocheck cable car in Oberaudorf opens up a diverse recreational area for hiking, biking, summer tobogganing and skiing – practically on your doorstep. Particularly popular is the hiking route to Brünsteinhaus (1,434 m) with magnificent panoramic views across the Inn valley and the Kaiser mountains. The extensive trail network of the Kaiser mountains additionally offers tours for every level – from relaxed family excursions to demanding mountain hikes. During winter, cross-country skiing trails and nearby ski areas invite you to enjoy winter sports.
The centre of Oberaudorf is located only 2 km away and can be reached by bicycle in approximately 5 minutes. There you will find restaurants, shopping opportunities, cultural offerings, sports facilities and excellent medical care. Kiefersfelden with around 7,000 inhabitants lies approximately 3.5 km away and offers primary schools, kindergartens and daycare centres. The shopping city of Rosenheim with renowned clinics and several grammar schools is also easily accessible.
Mühlbach benefits from excellent transport connections via the Inntal motorway A93: Munich can be reached in approximately 60 minutes by car or comfortably by train – ideal for commuters. Rosenheim is around 35 minutes away, Kufstein approximately 10 minutes. Hourly trains depart from Oberaudorf station toward Rosenheim (approx. 20 min.) and Kufstein (approx. 30 min.). Alpine idyll and metropolitan life – here, both belong together.
