Your new single-family, detached home is being built in the “Taunus Quarter”, a beautiful new build development zone on the outskirts of Idstein. Bad Homburger Straße is located on a southwest slope with a view over the city and the Taunus forests. You can reach the construction area via the L3026 in the direction of Niedernhausen.

The project

Architecture

The houses win through their clearly structured facades. Large, finely subdivided windows underline their harmonious character. Colors, shapes and materials are coordinated with one another.

The concept convinces with its successful partitioning and clearly allocated zoning. Integrating daylight has been a particular aim of our architect.

Construction

The houses will be built in solid brick masonry with a full basement. EnEV 2016 energy efficient requirements are met. Foundations and floor slabs are in reinforced concrete, while outer walls and load-bearing inner walls are made of sand-lime brick. The staircases use a filigree steel construction and are fitted with wooden steps. Thermal insulation plaster is applied to the external masonry to increase thermal insulation values. The building entrance door systems consist of polymer profiles with insulating safety glass.

An intercom with a bell and a mailbox are provided in the area of ​​the front door. An intercom will be installed in the house.

Outdoor area

The sidewalk is paved and the terrace is covered with large-format pavers. The remaining plot of land is sown with lawn and planted with various plants and bushes.

  • Synthetic-framed windows with double glazing are fitted. Windows in the bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets are glazed with a satin finish.

  • All rooms in the house are heated by an underfloor heating system. The temperature is controlled individually in each room.
  • The house will have a fireplace with fireproof glazing for the firebox.
  • The house has a solidly built prefabricated garage with an electrically operated swing gate that can be opened using a hand-held transmitter. Access paths to the garage and the front door are laid with concrete composite paving, while the parking space is laid with jointed pavers and a corresponding substructure.
  • The house entrance is provided with a glass canopy.
