Buy now and claim the Hessengeld grant: Retroactive to 1 March 2024, the Hessengeld subsidy has been introduced. First-time buyers of owner-occupied homes can receive €10,000 each, with an additional €5,000 per minor child. The subsidy is capped at 6% of the property transfer tax. Applications are submitted online, with payments made in instalments over ten years.
