Location

The homelands of Kaufbeuren

Geographically, the independent town of Kaufbeuren is located in the Ostallgäu district of the state of Bavaria. The city is located on the Wertach River, consists of the districts of Kaufbeuren, Neugablonz, Oberbeuren, Hirschzell and Kemnat and, with around 45,000 inhabitants, is one of the larger municipalities in the administrative district of Swabia.
