Proven ideas reimagined

Consciously based on the style of Lübeck old town architecture, the townhouses toward the park are clad with a stylishly designed red-brown brick facade. An urban planning architectural competition laid the foundation for the overall appearance of NEUE MEILE. The design of the new townhouses interprets the aesthetics of classic Lübeck townhouses. In our UP TOWN project we develop this model further and bring it into the present.
New urban quarter
The two construction fields of the project development UP TOWN are located in the NEUE MEILE quarter at the former freight station of Lübeck.
Here Lübeck gets back part of the city, formerly a business location and afterwards for a long time unused and inaccessible. On the site of the old freight station, DIE WOHNKOMPANIE Nord is developing a quarter where living, working and leisure combine into a lively neighborhood. Accompanying the green center, the park in NEUE MEILE, a hotel, commercial spaces in the freight hall, a kindergarten, micro apartments for students or seniors, apartments and townhouses are planned.

From world heritage to new quarter
Commuting between the Hanseatic cities – nothing easier than that. You're in Hamburg in 45 minutes, Boltenhagen or Timmendorfer Strand are less than 30 minutes away by car. Lübeck city center can be comfortably reached by bicycle in a quarter hour, and Travemünde beach is only a stone's throw away. Life in the big city can be so simple. And cool on top of that.
