Right at the Sanssouci Palace Park, TIAMO rekindles the longing for the south. A residential ensemble is being created that forges an elegant bridge between history and your modern lifestyle.
THE HEART OF ELEVATED RESIDENTIAL ART!
According to the dictates of great appreciation and careful preservation we will wake five heritage-listed Altbau gems within view of Sanssouci Park from their slumber: a historic villa, two coach houses and two impressive townhouses. 21 luxurious living dreams of 80 to 240 square meters in size will satisfy the longing for a prestigious domicile at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stucco ornamented, double box windows and double doors are retained where possible to revive the magic of bygone eras.
Further back on this large, park-like property are five townhouses and three garden houses that present themselves in contemporary elegance. Embedded in quiet green garden oases and surrounded by ancient giant trees, TIAMO creates a loving unity through the ages. The location is just as spectacular as the architecture: RIGHT on the doorstep is the spacious Sanssouci Palace Park, one of the most interesting parks in the world.
Each of the houses has its own charm, each with its own eventful history. This is what makes heritage-listed older buildings so valuable and underlines their individuality. At the same time, there is a visible harmony between the villa, townhouses and coach houses. Come with us on a short tour.
The outer shell of all five buildings are under monument protection: windows and balconies, facades, roofs and tiles, entrance doors, fences, paving and fittings are carefully worked up or restored. This way, their original appearance is retained.
Consisting of 6 apartments, 86 to 179 m²
A townhouse like one might marvel at in Florence. And that is exactly what former owner and dairy magnate Bankow intended, who had this magnificent upper-class apartment building created in the style of a Florentine city palace at the end of the 19th century. Like many of his contemporaries, he had succumbed to the charm of Italian architecture. What luck, because we can still enjoy the well-preserved red clinker brick facade with its splendid stucco and sandstone structures and the artistically crafted wrought-iron balcony grilles. Townhouse Rosso stands shoulder to shoulder with townhouse Verona, both forming a harmonious unit. The interiors also follow the palazzo style with imposing room heights of over three meters and apartment sizes between 86 and 179 m². Six apartments with contemporary floor plans and modern outfitting, all of which can be easily reached by elevator, are available in the Rosso townhouse.
The GRANDE DAME of the TIAMO ensemble:
With its richly structured ocher-colored facade, the detached villa at Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 59 attracts everyone's attention. It exudes a special aesthetic - on the one hand through its symmetry, on the other hand through details such as its fine stucco reliefs. Inner values are equally impressive. Six apartments enchant with a classically elegant ambience and leave nothing to be desired in terms of outfitting. New, energy-efficient heating ensures a pleasant home environment. Plus there's an elevator for additional COMFORT. The most beautiful highlight, however, is the view: from the balcony, terrace and loggia you can see the tall oaks and beeches of the castle park, whose leaves rustle in the wind and whisper of long past times ... Each of the houses has its own charm, each one its own story. This is what makes heritage-listed buildings so valuable and underlines their individuality. At the same time, there's a visible harmony between the villa, townhouses and coach houses. Come with us on a short tour. The outer shell of all five buildings are under architectural landmark protection: windows and balconies, facades, roofs and tiles, entrance doors, fences, paving and fittings are carefully worked up or restored. This way, the original appearance is retained.
"It is her, my most beautiful, my dearest!" ...
In contrast to its literary model, love finds its fulfilment here: somewhat hidden behind the townhouses Rosso and Verona, the two coach houses stand opposite each other. Once upon a time these were stable buildings, erected in the typical construction method of the time with exposed and plastered masonry. At the end of the 19th century, the remise was converted into residential buildings and additional floors were added. A tasteful interior delights the heart, just as you want it to be.
Consisting of 4 apartments, 90 to 110 m²
Like a close confidante, the Verona townhouse nestles against the neighboring Rosso townhouse and yet has its very own charisma. At the same time the townhouse, built by a dairy magnate named Bankow, is the oldest building on Geschwister -Scholl- Strasse. As early as 1879, one floor was added, and in 1896 a balcony facing the street was added. The wrought-iron balcony grilles create a nice contrast to the sand-colored facade. Four apartments, spread over four floors, breathe new life into the townhouse: on living areas of 90 to 118 m², the new residents can expect elegance with modern comforts.
High quality wooden floors
Exquisite bathroom elements and tiling
From magnificent stucco to double box windows to double doors – numerous highlights underline the uniqueness of these special architectural treasures in the Sanssouci monument area.
Today's Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse has always been one of the most beautiful addresses in Potsdam.
Located in a coveted Brandenburg suburb near the historic centre of the city, it runs along the south side of the Sanssouci Palace Park. Large and small, often splendid and always architecturally special villas and townhouses characterize the image of this street, which was once called Victoriastraße. They still tell of their lordly past: predominantly well-off citizens, but also nobles and employees of the Prussian royal court lived here.
To preserve such traditional buildings and to help them towards a renaissance – that is a real passion project! Fall in love with TIAMO and let yourself be carried away by residential spaces with a special aura.
Sanssouci Palace and Palace Park are directly opposite.
TIAMO is in love with one of the most beautiful residential areas of Potsdam: this Brandenburg suburb impresses with its very individual, mostly neoclassical architecture and its proximity to the palace gardens, the Havel and the city centre. There are many colorful shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.
The property is located in a lively area in Potsdam Potsdam West. There are a few restaurants, doctors, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. A few green spaces and parks, fitness studios and bars are within walking distance.
Live, love, laugh - nothing easier than that in the picture book city of Potsdam. Let yourself be enchanted by this total work of art made up of landscape dreams and monuments, immerse yourself in enjoyment, culture and joie de vivre. Fall in love with a city that reveals a little wonder on every corner. Ti amo, Potsdam!
How lucky that you exist.
