Affalterbach as a residential location.
At the foot of the Lemberg is located the idyllic municipality of Affalterbach with around 4,500 inhabitants. It is part of the Ludwigsburg district in Baden-Württemberg and despite its location in the midst of scenically attractive nature is extremely conveniently located for transport. Both with public transport and by car, surrounding towns such as Winnenden, Ludwigsburg and Marbach am Neckar can be reached shortly. The proximity to the A81 and B14 also enables rapid access to larger cities such as Heilbronn or the state capital Stuttgart.
A mix of city and country.
Affalterbach combines the advantages of a rural location with those of a city: shopping facilities including regional organic farm shops, banks, post office, medical practices as well as a primary school and kindergartens are located directly in the town. The industrial estate with its partly internationally operating companies offers attractive workplaces.
The municipality provides diverse leisure activities with its various clubs. For sporting activities, playing fields for ball sports, athletics facilities and children's play opportunities are available. But also the nature around Affalterbach is ideally suited for local recreation: the Lemberg invites you to walks and cycling through forest and vineyards, in a few minutes you reach the idyllic Buchenbach valley.
