Every evening, all of Germany looks to Lokstedt. Because since 1955, the Tagesschau has been broadcast from here. But the district in the northwest of Hamburg has much more to offer than the NDR. Many parks, lots of greenery, great transport connections, short distances into and out of the city – not without reason does Lokstedt attract more and more people year after year.

In the area around Mutzenbecherweg and Hagendeel, at Siemersplatz or in nearby Nedderfeld Center, you will find everything needed on a daily basis: supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, doctors and much more. The "Hinter der Lieth" primary school is located in the direct surroundings (5 minutes' walk). The Corveystraße grammar school can also be reached by bicycle in less than ten minutes. The U2 from Hagendeel stop is also less than 5 minutes' walk away. And the 5 bus runs for example from Siemersplatz, which you can reach on foot from MUTZEN/DEEL in a quarter of an hour.
