OUR GOAL: A CO2-NEUTRAL ENERGY STRUCTURE IN THE QUARTER. THIS MEANS: ACTIVELY SHAPING PROGRESS.
We use highly efficient technology to supply the area with heat. Specifically: a natural gas combined heat and power plant that works economically advantageously at high efficiency levels will generate heat for heating, hot water and electricity. Any surplus electricity can be fed into the public grid. This so-called cogeneration, with which DAS NEUE GREUT meets the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG) for new buildings, is an important element in the framework of transformation to a CO2-neutral generation structure. It is simultaneously open to future developments toward biogas, synthetic gases and hydrogen.
Photovoltaic systems mounted on the roofs additionally generate electricity that can be used within the framework of the so-called tenant electricity model. Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is being created in the underground garage. Intelligent load management ensures that e-vehicles are optimally charged at all times.
The entire energy concept is implemented by Esslingen municipal utilities within the framework of contracting. SWE plan, build, finance and operate the entire system technology and ensure reliable, efficient and environmentally friendly heat supply through a "complete worry-free package". 24/7 standby service included. SWE also handles billing for e-car charging processes.
