Am Winterfeldt

This project is located on a spacious plot of land surrounded by architectural landmarks such as the well-known St. Matthias Church, the Berlin Supreme Court and other buildings famed for their traditional construction. Thanks to the excellent work and great attention to detail paid by the architects, the “Am Winterfeldt” ensemble blends in perfectly with its surroundings and perfectly complements the neighbourhood's overall character. The construction methods used takes up classic elements of the Berlin townhouse style and cleverly combines them with modern structures. This creates a breathtaking combination of classic and modern, which enables a successful connection to the surrounding development. The building materials used also fit in perfectly with the neighboring building complexes. While high-quality natural stone is used in the lower part of the building, the upper floors are traditionally plastered with differently tinted colors. Overall, clearly structured facades support the prestigious character of the ensemble.

The total property plot of the “Am Winterfeldt” project from D&H is 6,017 square meters. A total of 7 buildings house 219 exclusive residential units and 8 commercial spaces, the floor plans of which offer a contemporary interpretation of the demands of modern living. A total of 17,468 square meters of living space and 349 square meters of commercial space will be created over 7 floors. A closed and spacious private inner courtyard with approx. 2,653 square meters offers the residents of "Am Winterfeldt" a private green area in the middle of the city for enjoyment and relaxation. In addition, “Am Winterfeldt” will be supplemented with 79 parking spaces as well as over 400 bicycle parking spaces and storage rooms for prams in the basement. The ensemble is divided into seven slightly separated building zones, each with its own entrance and access to stairs/elevators. This enables an individual feeling of living alongside an intimate atmosphere.

High-quality, classic materials in warm colors represent the timeless outfitting concept. In the living rooms, oak parquet is used. Tall internal doors create a spacious feeling of space and enable flowing transitions between the individual living areas. Solid walls are plastered and given a light coat of paint; no other decorative element is initially implemented. Timeless use of materials is also in the foreground in the bathrooms. Large-format gray tiles are laid on the walls and floors. Restrained bathroom ceramics such as the Duravit “Vero” washbasin or the timeless “Starck3” Rimless® toilet stand for clear, geometric design. Stainless steel bathroom fittings from Hansgrohe with puristic lever handles are just as timeless. In addition, all showers are installed flush with the floor, ensuring a pleasant and comfort wellness experience.

The central location of the project guarantees an excellent connection to local public transport. From the nearby subway stations Nollendorfplatz, Bülowstraße and Kleistpark serving lines U1, U2, U3, U4 and U7 you can easily and quickly reach all corners of the city. The well-known traffic hubs of Zoologischer Garten, Alexanderplatz and Potsdamer Platz can be reached in a short time.
