Freihaus35 in Bad Wiessee is the fifth new building project from our favourite developer Christian Werth. Here he's creating two single-family houses along a quiet residential street with no through traffic, one with a living space of 199 m², the other with 216 m². Put this in your calendar: completion is planned for the end of 2020.
These two new buildings in traditional country house style plus their favourable location are perfect for families with two or three children. The ground floor, upper floor and storage room offer plenty of space for vibrant living.
House I has six rooms, all for dreaming and four for sleeping. Tired of an office or guest room on the ground floor? Then simply redeploy this room as a fifth bedroom. The spacious children's rooms have their own bathroom (cool!) And access to the south-facing balcony. House II is a little roomier. For the lucky owners of this home this means an additional storage room on the upper floor and a third bathroom on the ground floor.
Country house-style floorboards are fitted in both houses. However, if you'd prefer to walk on stone tiles or maple parquet in herringbone we're happy to install your choice of flooring for you. The parents' area is furnished with a dressing room and en suite bathroom, which in turn is equipped with a shower, bathtub and stone sink.
Not only legal guardians will love the extremely practical laundry chute. It transports everything less than clean from top to bottom to the separate laundry room. It is planned to be suitable for family households and is therefore large (we've learned from experience). The basement also offers plenty of space for – for example – all-season table tennis tournaments.
The living area is designed with an open kitchen, from which you directly access the outside, perhaps to quickly pick a handful of herbs for the tomato sauce? The terraces are spacious and face east-south-west. House I has a garden of 650 m², House II a garden which measures 500 m², and a double garage plus parking space is provided for each house.
House II stands at a height of four metres to the roof ridge. For even more light in the upper room, we can completely glaze the roof gable – what do you think?
We always declare the lake promenade in Bad Wiessee to be the best along the whole shoreline of Tegernsee, because there's a lot to experience for young and old to be had and even more to see. Another highlight: the new thermal baths designed by Matteo Thun. Bad Wiessee also serves up a delicious meal, for example in Italian restaurant Da Mimmo or in der Fischerei (just for the record: it is also possible to travel here by helicopter ...).
These two single-family detached houses will soon be located in a mature, quiet residential area in the west of Bad Wiessee. From here it's not far for the youngest to reach the local kindergarten, and the walk to the primary school is also very short. This address frees the residents from through traffic. The soothing natural soundtrack is courtesy of the waterway known as the "Hölzlgraben". This small stream flows past the property and – according to family father Füsser and our boys – is perfect for building a dam.
