Living in the heart of Bonn

It has been more than 300 years since I, Constance, left my home country of France to start a new life with Elector Joseph Clemens of Bavaria in Bonn. He had the impressive Poppelsdorf Castle built in the centre of town, where we lived together for the next few decades. After Joseph's sudden death I returned to France. I undertook various journeys that took me across Europe and beyond the borders of the continent and around the world.

Bonn remains my home

I visited the metropolises of Europe, looked down from the first skyscrapers in New York and walked on the Great Wall of China. I have traveled to many fascinating places over the past centuries, but Bonn is still the best place to live for me to this day.

It is also a leisurely walk from my apartment to get to Poppelsdorf Castle or the banks of the Rhine.
