Bruckhaufen is one of the most beautiful residential areas in Vienna and still an absolute insider tip. The relatively small Grätzel in Floridsdorf is a very young district. The area was originally owned by the Klosterneuburg Monastery, until the city of Vienna finally bought it in the mid-1930s and dedicated it as building land. At that time there was already a tranquil settlement and several allotments. Even today, the manageable area has a village-like settlement character and is mainly determined by single-family houses.
